I did a bit furnishings purchasing currently to seek out an incredible entry desk for our home. Luckily I used to be capable of finding the proper piece in our rest room! Above is the after – a clear line to stroll by. The earlier desk (under) had an ornamental edge that jutted out only a bit making one really feel a bit claustrophobic strolling by. In addition to bettering the walk-through, the drawers and aesthetics look higher with the items swapped. I LOVE a simple little residence mission like this, so as soon as I made the choice to change them I couldn’t wait to get began. So excited that I forgot to take a earlier than pic of the downstairs room.
Before: Old Entry Table
Here’s the unique entry piece after I eliminated the drawers:
Remember when it appeared like this?
I painted it with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint years in the past. I blended teal and white to create an ombre impact. (You know, when ombre what SO COOL again in like 2012?!)
Before: Master Bath
Here’s what our rest room appeared like earlier than! FYI, I purchased this entry desk at Homegoods years in the past.
After: Master Bath
Our rest room is sort of bland in shade, so I believed the pop of shade would look higher in right here. I used to be proper! (The little chest, which was my grandmothers, is now on the opposite aspect of our bed room.)
The drawers have been organized and maintain additional rest room issues like Q-tips and toothbrushes.
After: A Great Entry Table
And right here’s the after downstairs. What makes it higher? The drawer group is a lot simpler with seven choices for hats, gloves, scarves, sun shades, and little purses. The colours match our downstairs significantly better, and the cleaner edge means it’s simpler to move by.
I would notice that I carried each items of furnishings up and down the steps on my own! This lady don’t want no man 😉
