Winner of our blueberry recipe contest, submitted by Neely Whetsell (healthy-ished by me)
I used to be going to maintain the recipe unique however there have been too many alternatives to tweak it with out sacrificing taste and delight.
When it involves “healthy” baking, I’m often in opposition to substitutes. Do NOT put black beans in my brownies or chickpeas in my cookies.
But simple subs like Greek yogurt for butter or reducing the sugar? Count me in to strive it.
Will (my husband) is at all times my guinea pig for style testing. He will inform me if one thing tastes “too healthy.” These blueberry crumb bars handed with flying colours.
They may even be wholesome sufficient to go for breakfast (at the least they’ve for me).
